Thank goodness, natural makeup is back on the runways for spring 2010! Here are some simple tips to achieve this look from my makeup San Antonio experience.

Start out by focusing on flawless skin, which doesn’t necessarily mean tons of makeup! In fact, bare is better, so go for completely naked skin, or a tinted moisturizer. If you do need some makeup to cover up imperfections, try a light powdered mineral makeup dusted on the skin as foundation.
Again, lips are perfectly bare for the spring, so go for a tinted lip balm or light lip stain that matches your natural lip color. When it comes to mascara, consider clear or brown mascara that will best match your skin tone, or a light coat of black mascara only on the upper lashes. Remember to groom your brows to their natural shape for a flawless and fresh look for 2010!

If you are running from the gym to work, it’s often difficult to mask signs of a hard workout. Here is the best way to stay radiant even after a workout from my bridal makeup San Antonio experience.

If you are dealing with red cheeks, then start out by blasting them with a shot of cool air from your blow dryer. After that, apply a soothing moisturizer to calm the skin, and use tinted moisturizer instead of a heavy foundation to let your glow shine through.
If your mascara is already smudging, then used a cleansing towelette to remove the excess mascara smudges. Simply curl your lashes to revamp the mascara that you are already wearing.
Last of all, use a light balm or lip stain to complete your quick makeup look, which will perfectly complement your glowing skin from your exercise routine!

If you are hoping to minimize unsightly stretch marks, it is easier than you think, from my makeup San Antonio experience!
You can actually use any type of makeup to cover stretch marks, including cream or liquid foundations to give a natural look to the skin. However, if you are hoping to cover a larger area of your body, such as your stomach or thighs, then that may not be a suitable option for daily wear. One of your best bets will be to use self tanning products. This is something that works better on older stretch marks because the skin no longer looks shiny.
Make sure to blend the product well, and you will see the stretch marks significantly minimized since they often create a dark color on the surface of the skin. Otherwise, you can easily use a tinted moisturizer in the area to camouflage unpleasant stretch marks!

If you are starting to see some fine lines and wrinkles, then you definitely need to focus on the quality of your foundation application to minimize them and not highlight them on a day-to-day basis. Here is some easy help from my makeup artist San Antonio experience!
The best way to minimize wrinkles is to find a foundation shade that matches your skin tone perfectly. If it is too light or too dark, it will highlight deep lines and wrinkles. The best way to match your foundation shade is on your jaw line, and not on your neck or hand, no matter what you may have heard.
Many women may prefer the use of a tinted moisturizer, which will work to soften facial skin, especially if it may be dry or wrinkled. This will give a nice color to your complexion, and it also will work to minimize wrinkles flawlessly.

If you want to switch up your summer makeup for fall without looking too dramatic, here is the best way to achieve this look in 3 easy steps from my San Antonio makeup service experience.
1. To create a subtle smoky eye for fall, try using a plum or lilac shade. You can also line your eyes with this shade using contour makeup brush, and smudge the eyeliner slightly for the smoky effect.
2. Use a lighter lip color, like apricot or nude pink, in a sheer shade for a sweet and healthy glow.
3. Even though the fall often calls for darker makeup, use a lighter foundation, like a mineral makeup powder foundation or a tinted moisturizer, to let your natural beauty shine through. It is still helpful to dust with a light bronzer for a fresh look to your face!

If you have a special event like a wedding or a big night out coming up, then you need an effective foundation primer to make your makeup last all night long. Here is what I use for all of my San Antonio wedding makeup brides!
Rimmel Fix & Perfect is an affordable primer at drugstore prices that has a high quality finish. Primer works to smooth out your pores and help your foundation easily stick to your skin all day long. This is not necessarily something that you need to wear on a daily basis, especially if you can get away with wearing tinted moisturizer to have a natural look. However, wearing a primer like this for your wedding or another special event will help your makeup look beautiful in photography, and it also will allow your foundation to stay on longer.
This primer provides an even coverage, and it also works to minimize the pores. I have a difficult time finding affordable primers in other brands, so this is a great bargain option that will give you professional results. What type of primer do you use?

To have a beautiful, clean makeup application like Rachel Bilson, you definitely need to channel your OC style. Here are some easy tips from my San Antonio wedding makeup experience!
-
Make sure that your face looks as clean as possible for that California glow. Use a tinted moisturizer and a minimal amount of concealer.
- For blush, use a cream or gel blush because it gives the most natural and glowing finish.
- For your eye makeup, choose shades that are close to your skin tone so that they remain neutral. It is also best to use a highlighter in the stick form to highlight your lower lash line and underneath your brows to make your eyes stand out.
- Make sure that your brows are well groomed, and use an eyeshadow shade that is the same color as your hair to color them in lightly.
- Always go for a nude or neutral lip color that will complement your skin tone for a beautiful California look!

Dark circles under the eyes can be a nagging and pesky problem, so you definitely want to make sure that you have the tools necessary to get them taken care of fast. Here are some easy tricks from my bridal makeup San Antonio experience.
One of the best ways to take care of dark circles that make you look as if you haven’t slept in weeks is to use concealer on the inner half of the under eye area. Blend this well, and then use an illuminating and highlighting product on the outer half of the under eye area. It’s best to use a color corrector if you have very dark under eye circles, and then you can use an illuminating tinted moisturizing product for the outer half of the under eye circles.
This is a great way to completely mask the dark and bruised area that can often be found underneath the eye, and it will also open up your eyes by adding some highlighting to the outer corners. The highlighting will also be a wonderful way to mask crow’s feet and any wrinkles in the eye area. Here’s to a more beautiful you!

Are you a brunette beauty wondering which type of makeup will look best with your hair color to play up your features? I have all of the answers you need from my wedding makeup San Antonio experience!
- Use metallics to warm up and bring out darker features, like brown eyes. If you are a blue-eyed brunette, then opt for warmer khaki eyeshadows blended with pinks to bring out the blue of your eyes.
- Always use a bronzer because that will warm up your face, especially if you do have a darker brunette color of hair, like chestnut or espresso.
- If you go light on your eye color, then work to bring out your lips with a red color with brown undertones or even a deep plum with orange or brown undertones.
- Use a peachy blush, which will make a surprising difference to give a beautiful flush, as well as complement your brunette hair.
- Since your dark hair brings so much beauty, you can often just use a tinted moisturizer instead of a foundation to even out your skin and make you look the most natural.
I hope these tips have been helpful for you to bring out your best features as a brunette, especially for your wedding day, though they are perfect for any day of the week!

Of course, it is your special day, so you want to look beautiful, but you still want to look like yourself. Let me share with you some fantastically easy tips for a naturally beautiful wedding makeup look from my experience in wedding makeup San Antonio.
- Apply a mineral makeup foundation because it will allow you to control the amount of powder that you are using, and it will sit naturally on your skin.
- Use professional brushes because the makeup you are applying will sit better without you applying too much pigment.
- Try out a tinted moisturizer instead of a foundation for a truly bare look for your skin.
- Use a cream blush because it blends better into your skin than a powdered blush.
- You can use clear mascara if you don’t want a dramatic eye look because it will define your lashes without making them too dark.
- Opt for nude lips because that always is the most natural and flattering choice.
- Blend! Blend! Blend! That is the most effective way to look natural in your makeup.
