The 5 Best Quick Makeup Tips

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

To stay gorgeously beautiful, it is always important to have easy and quick makeup tricks up your sleeve! Here are the best of the best from my San Antonio wedding makeup experience.

1. To keep your foundation on all day long, make sure to apply liquid foundation with a sponge to only the areas of your complexion that need coverage. Blend well, and top with a translucent powder.
2. The best way to achieve a natural look is to layer your makeup with a light application of foundation, then blush, then powder.
3. Apply a small amount of foundation to your lips before your lip liner and lipstick for an all-day color.
4. If your mascara is flaking, apply eyelash primer before your volumizing mascara product.
5. Curl your lashes the easy way by heating your eyelash curler with a blow dryer before curling for volume that will last all day long!

lipsrex2801_468x315For beautiful lips, there are a few different things that you can do to achieve your desired effect. Here are the best tips from my wedding makeup San Antonio experience!

• If you would like a creamy color to your lipstick, then apply lip balm directly before you apply your lipstick.
• If you would prefer a matte effect to your lipstick, blot your lipstick with a tissue after applying.
• If you would like to have a glossier effect to your lipstick, then cover it with a clear gloss for a shiny finish. You can also apply gloss to the center of your bottom lip to make it look larger.
• If you would like a sheer lip color, then use lip balm. You can also apply a small amount of a nude lipstick to your lips with a makeup brush for a smooth finish.
