If you are running from the gym to work, it’s often difficult to mask signs of a hard workout. Here is the best way to stay radiant even after a workout from my bridal makeup San Antonio experience.

If you are dealing with red cheeks, then start out by blasting them with a shot of cool air from your blow dryer. After that, apply a soothing moisturizer to calm the skin, and use tinted moisturizer instead of a heavy foundation to let your glow shine through.

If your mascara is already smudging, then used a cleansing towelette to remove the excess mascara smudges. Simply curl your lashes to revamp the mascara that you are already wearing.

Last of all, use a light balm or lip stain to complete your quick makeup look, which will perfectly complement your glowing skin from your exercise routine!

The Hottest Makeup Trend of 2010

lip1The new year is almost upon us, which offers you the opportunity to try out the hottest makeup trend of 2010. Are you ready? Here is what you need to know from my makeup artist San Antonio experience.

One of the easiest ways to add some vibrance to your look for the winter season is with a lip stain. This is different from using your average lipstick because it adds a deep color to your pout without looking heavy like a lipstick application.

What you may find on the runways is that these lip stains are being paired with very nude makeup so that your face looks bare in comparison. Go for a bare and natural face with a deep and dramatic lip stain for the new year!

Easy Summer Makeup Look

If you are spending your days at the beach or the pool, or just hanging out around your house, it is important to utilize some easy summer makeup tips to make you look fresh and beautiful. I have them broken down for you from my experience in San Antonio wedding makeup. Here we go!

  • Eyes: Go for strong metallics and shimmers because they will best complement a tanner skin tone. You can even use a wet/dry makeup brush to apply the metallic shadow wet as a popping eyeliner.
  • Blush: Use a cream blush because it looks the most natural with your dewy summer skin. Apply it with clean fingers so that your body warmth can blend it better into your skin.
  • Foundation: Go for a tinted moisturizer so that you look the most natural on hot summer days. Mineral makeup also sits well and doesn’t smudge when you are out in the heat and sweating.
  • Lips: For a long lasting lip color for your times by the pool, use a lip stain that will stay on for a longer period of time. Apply a clear gloss to the center of your bottom lip to make your lips look pouty and fresh.
  • Bronzer: The best way to offset your tinted moisturizer on your face is to apply bronzer, preferably made from mineral ingredients, with a fluffy brush to your forehead, cheeks, and nose, where the sun would naturally hit your face.

Wasn’t that easy? With these simple makeup tips you will be looking fresh for the summer in no time!
