If you’re ready to start celebrating the latest beauty trends of 2010, gold is where it’s at! Here is what to try from my wedding makeup San Antonio experience:

• First off, start with your nails, and use a deep gold or buttery nail polish.
• Gold eyeshadow is perfect to bring out any skin tone, but opt for cooler shades if you have a cool skin tone, and go for warmer and richer tones for golden skin. It makes sense!
• Gold can be used in muted eyeshadow shades or even metallics, which are better worn for a fun night out.
• Use a gold lipstick to mix with your regular lip color for a subtle gold undertone. It will really make a regular pink gloss pop!

Get sexy makeup! When you know how to play up your best features, these hot makeup looks will work every time, from my makeup San Antonio experience.

1. The smoky eye: This is absolutely not to be overlooked because it always brings a beautiful and a sultry appeal. It can also be toned down for a daytime work look.
2. Sexy nude lips: This is a beautiful and understated style that will help your skin to look glowing and fresh. There is nothing more beautiful than natural lips!
3. Gold eyeshadow: This is a fun look to play up delicate features, and it also works great paired with a smudged brown eyeliner. It will bring out warm tones in your skin for sunnier weather.
4. Rosy cheeks: The key is to pair your rosy cheeks with understated makeup, and use a blush color that matches your skin tone when your cheeks are flushed. Très chic!

Subtle Smoky Eye How To

Monday, September 7th, 2009

If you are a fair skinned beauty, then a dark smoky eye may be too much for your delicate features, so what is a girl to do? Here is some helpful advice from my wedding makeup San Antonio experience.

goldIf you have a lighter skin tone and do not want to go too dark on your eye makeup, then you can use gray eyeliner instead of black or charcoal. It is best to use a lighter gray eyeliner or light gray eyeshadow that you can apply as eyeliner with a slanted makeup brush. Top that off with a gold eyeshadow that you can still apply in the same way as you would a smoky eye. Also, make sure to use a slanted brush to apply some of the gold eyeshadow to the bottom lash line as well, which will give the perfect smoky eye effect.

Last, but not least, always make sure to smudge because that is a key component to the smoky eye, regardless of what colors you are using. This is a beautiful alternative to a dramatic smoky eye that will still give you the same stunning look!
