How To Use Clear Mascara: Simple Beauty Tricks

Monday, January 18th, 2010

The best way to have shiny and full lashes is to make your mascara work for you! Find out what you need to know from my San Antonio makeup experience.

Start out by curling your lashes, which will help them to appear fuller and have more volume. To hold that eyelash curl in place, apply a coat of clear mascara, which will freeze the curl and keep your lashes looking dramatic all day long.

Another way to use clear mascara is to apply it as a final coat after you have applied your regular mascara. This will help you to add shine to your lashes for a sleek appearance. Last of all, you can also dab a small amount of clear mascara onto your brows to keep them groomed and polished!

How To Use an Eyelash Curler

This may seem like an absolute no-brainer, but you do need to be careful with your eyelash curler to make sure that you keep your eyelashes protected! Here is some easy help from my bridal makeup San Antonio experience.

eyelashStart out with clean lashes because if you have mascara residue on your eyelashes, you could pull them out when you use an eyelash curler.
• Place the eyelash curler at the base of your eyelashes so that your eyelashes are between the pads on the curler.
• Press the eyelash curler firmly down, and hold your eyelashes in place up to a count of five.
• Repeat this method for your other eye, but don’t curl your lower eyelashes because they are too fragile and can easily be pulled out.

This is an easy way to open up your eyes and show off your best feature!
