If you want to treat dry and cracked calluses on your hands and feet, use a mixture of olive oil and melted beeswax. Cover up your hands and feet with cotton gloves and socks, and allow the hydrating mixture to deeply penetrate your skin. This is a helpful tip for dry, chapped, and cracked hands and feet as the weather gets colder.

This type of moisturizing is an easy and cheap home remedy if you can’t afford some of the more expensive moisturizing products on the market. It is also quite helpful to balance dry and irritated skin to prevent harm to the outer barrier of your skin, which can often leave it damage and susceptible to infection.

Instead of struggling with dry skin as the seasons change, soothe and hydrate your skin at home!

If you want to look as young and beautiful as Teri Hatcher, try taking a beauty tip from this Desperate Housewife. She definitely looks younger than her years, and she attributes it to not only drinking but bathing in red wine. Really!

Teri pours two glasses of red wine into her bath each night to help soften her skin, which works perfectly since red wine is full of antioxidants that will neutralize free radical damage and prevent aging. Otherwise, you can also enjoy a glass of red wine while you bathe to provide your body with the same necessary antioxidants to keep it protected from outside free radical damage from the sun, pollution, and even smoking. Your skin will thank you!

Here is a fun little testimonial I wanted to share. One of the biggest things that I harp on is how necessary it is for oily skin types to moisturize to prevent acne, even though it seems to be the last thing that you want to do. The reason behind this is that if an oily skin type does not moisturize after cleansing, their skin will be triggered to produce even more oil as it dries out, causing even more breakouts. Even though you may not want to put moisturizer on your skin, it is essential to use an oil-free moisturizer for oily skin after every time that you cleanse to keep your complexion in balance.

I shared this advice with my beautiful sister, who has struggled with breakouts for quite some time. I am smug and proud to say that she said moisturizing regularly really improved her breakouts, even though she has always shied away from moisturizing. She says that her skin is still somewhat shiny, so her next move is to try a natural astringent, like tea tree oil or witch hazel, to control shine. Hoorah!

Red wine is excellent to drink to benefit your skin because it is full of antioxidants, which will protect your complexion from wrinkles. Better yet, here is a recipe you can use to treat your skin with red wine at home:

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon red wine

1 teaspoon dark cocoa powder

1 teaspoon green tea powder

If the mixture is very thick, add a little more red wine to create a smooth and pasty consistency. You can also add honey to this recipe if you have very dry skin for more nourishment. Apply this mask to your face, except for your eye area, and rinse after 20 minutes. Because of the antioxidant content, the red wine will heal and repair your skin so that it immediately looks brighter and healthier when you are done!

This is an excellent makeup artist trick of the trade, but if you are in a pinch and need tinted lip gloss, all you have to do is mix any of your favorite lipsticks with a small amount of Vaseline. This can work well if you want full and glossy lips for a night out, yet don’t have any lip glosses in the color that you are hoping to wear. You can use a small makeup brush to mix a dab of Vaseline in with your lip color so that it is glossy and goes on smoothly.

In fact, if you have any old makeup palettes or empty containers, you can transfer this glossy lip color mixture to another container for safekeeping. Make sure to use it within several weeks since it will have a short shelf life, and remember that this is the perfect trick to use for any old lipstick tubes that you don’t know what to do with. Way to be inventive!

Perhaps you are addicted to buying cheap beauty products or maybe you are racking up some serious debt on the finer makeup wares in life… When it comes to your eye makeup, it is best to save on your eyeliner purchases and splurge on the type of eyeshadow that you buy. Since most eyeliners are made from wax, they’re normally not worth $20 when you can buy them for less than $5 at a drugstore.

	<img class=" " style="border: 0px initial initial;" src="http://www.eyeslipsface.com/gallery_big/81155_100000.jpg" border="0" alt="e.l.f.
Still, when it comes to eyeshadow, quality is often worth the price since it will stay on for longer and look less cheap. Cheaper eyeshadow brands from the drugstore will probably smudge and crease by the middle of the day, yet many of the top brands like MAC and Stila will stay put, especially if you use a primer to keep them in place for longer. If you truly want a flawless finish, spend your hard-earned money on brand name eyeshadow and skimp on your eyeliner purchases!

Have numerous options at your disposal, and start out with a base color applied with a lip brush. After that, apply another complementary lip color in a slightly different shade to see what you get. This is all about experimentation, so continue to add and mix several colors until you get your desired shade.

Did you know that natural fruit ingredients are full of exfoliating enzymes that will remove dead skin cells built up on your complexion? This provides you with the first benefit of a fresh and glowing skin tone, yet it also stimulates new cell growth so that you are less at risk for wrinkles. Last of all, this homemade mask is helpful if you have uneven or sun damaged skin to create a smooth finish in your complexion.

Ingredients:

1 papaya, peeled, seeded, and cubed

1/2 pineapple, peeled, cored, and cubed

Crush the fruit cubes with a mortar and pestle, and use a cheesecloth to remove the pulp from the juice. Dip a cotton ball into the juice, and swap it on your face, neck, and décolleté in upward motions. Let the juice dry for 15 minutes, and then rinse and moisturize well. It is normal for your skin to tingle since the acids are removing dead skin cells, but rinse off the mask earlier if you have very sensitive skin. So fresh and so clean!

Rather than drinking your morning cup of Joe, have you ever thought of using it to treat your skin? One of the best ways to integrate coffee into your beauty care routine is by gently scrubbing your skin with used, cooled coffee grounds. Not only is this an excellent way to recycle your used grounds, but coffee is chock full of antioxidants, which are highly important to neutralize free radical damage in the skin that can cause aging.

As an added benefit, using coffee grounds to exfoliate will also remove dead skin cells, where the caffeine content will then constrict and tighten the surface of your skin to prevent unsightly sagging. Who knew that coffee was such a fantastic anti-aging tool?
