Thank goodness, natural makeup is back on the runways for spring 2010! Here are some simple tips to achieve this look from my makeup San Antonio experience.

Start out by focusing on flawless skin, which doesn’t necessarily mean tons of makeup! In fact, bare is better, so go for completely naked skin, or a tinted moisturizer. If you do need some makeup to cover up imperfections, try a light powdered mineral makeup dusted on the skin as foundation.

Again, lips are perfectly bare for the spring, so go for a tinted lip balm or light lip stain that matches your natural lip color. When it comes to mascara, consider clear or brown mascara that will best match your skin tone, or a light coat of black mascara only on the upper lashes. Remember to groom your brows to their natural shape for a flawless and fresh look for 2010!

If you’re ready to start celebrating the latest beauty trends of 2010, gold is where it’s at! Here is what to try from my wedding makeup San Antonio experience:

• First off, start with your nails, and use a deep gold or buttery nail polish.
• Gold eyeshadow is perfect to bring out any skin tone, but opt for cooler shades if you have a cool skin tone, and go for warmer and richer tones for golden skin. It makes sense!
• Gold can be used in muted eyeshadow shades or even metallics, which are better worn for a fun night out.
• Use a gold lipstick to mix with your regular lip color for a subtle gold undertone. It will really make a regular pink gloss pop!

Easy Tips For Spring Makeup

If you want to look your best for the spring season, here are some quick makeup enhancements from my San Antonio makeup service experience!

1. Try fresh and bright cheeks in fuchsia against a light foundation on the skin. This is the best way to look natural and bright for the spring season.
2. Use light metallics for your eyes to stay dazzling and flirty for the springtime. Go light for a daytime look, and then spice it up to transition from day to night.
3. Go for a pink tinted lip stain or gloss with light makeup for your everyday wear. This is a great way to bring out natural skin tones, and choose an even deeper shade if you have a darker complexion.
4. Try mineral makeup for minimum coverage with a natural and flawless look!
