Make sure that your skin is completely cleansed before you apply any type of product. It is always best to apply serums and treatment products on clean skin because they will absorb fully into the complexion. Also remember not to cleanse your face with very hot water because it will dry out and age the skin.
If your skin is warm, it will absorb product ingredients better. Use a warm towel to rinse your face after cleansing to make sure that your skin is warm and ready for products. Apply products with short strokes using your middle finger without stretching the skin. After you have applied a product, softly tap that area until the product is absorbed completely for around 30 seconds.
