Many times, those with sensitive skin will have reactions because the skin is overly dry or injured and cannot protect the nerve endings in the complexion from reacting to products. For cosmetic choices for sensitive skin, it is best to use makeup that has very few preservatives to prevent skin irritation. It is also best not to use waterproof makeup because you will have to remove it with a solvent, which can irritate the skin. As a rule of thumb, look for products with less than 10 ingredients to be gentle to your sensitive skin!
