We all know that the whole point of makeup is to look like you aren’t wearing any, so make sure to focus on only playing up one feature. If you are applying a dark lip color, then use a neutral eyeshadow, and vice versa. Using both dark eyeshadow and a dark lip color is very heavy and should not be used for an everyday look.
Next, take the time to have your eyebrows professionally groomed because it will make a big difference in your makeup application. Once you have your eyebrows shaped, you can continue to groom and tweeze them on your own time with touchups in between. Many people don’t realize that simply grooming their eyebrows will open up their eyes so that they need to wear less makeup as a result.
