Hi Sara,

Thank you for your comment! First of all, are you moisturizing after EVERY time you cleanse? That will keep your skin in balance to prevent patches of dryness. Next, try a green mineral makeup veil color corrector before applying your foundation and loose powder. This green color corrector will settle loosely on your skin to neutralize redness all over. I recommend Luxury Minerals. :)

I was just wondering the best kind of makeup for my skin type; I have normal skin with random times of dryness and shine. When I wear makeup I use a foundation with a brush and then loose powder, but whenever I see myself in pictures or look in the mirror a few hours later, my skin is somewhat red. How do I keep my face looking fresh and new the entire day?

Hi Lala,

Not a problem! Make sure that you moisturize the area well, and use the same concealer method, but use a green concealer to neutralize redness. There are green powdered mineral makeup concealers available, which I would recommend because they look natural. If they are dark scars, you can use a green color corrector to minimize redness, and then apply foundation over it. Good luck! :)

Hi Lala,

If you have burns to your lip and chin area, then you probably have dark brown spots of hyperpigmentation. It is best to use a cleanser with glycolic acid to remove that dark scarring, and also use mineral makeup for even coverage. You can blend your powdered mineral makeup foundation with water in your hand to work as a concealer. For very dark scarring, you can also use a color corrector, which provides the fullest coverage. Hope that helps! :)
