How to Avoid Problems with Your Powder

by Bethany on April 30, 2009

Okay, ladies, when you have finally put powder on your skin to finish your makeup application, there may be times that you notice that your final product is not what you would like it to be. This is not something to be overlooked, so do not continue with your makeup application until your skin is looking its best! There are just a couple things you may want to look for in troubleshooting your powder problems, as recommended by an expert in wedding makeup San Antonio.

  • Ashy: Look for a warmer powder color or use a bronzer.
  • Orange: Your skin may be too oily, or you may need to use a paler powder color.
  • Flaky: Your skin is too dry — use a moisturizer to remedy the problem.
  • Cakey: Make sure that you did not over moisturize your skin causing the powder to clump up on the surface of the skin.

I hope that these tips have helped to give you a pro makeup application every time!
